The Gerber mark 2 is a fixed blade knife with an overall length of 12.75 inches with blade length of 6.5 inches. And it weighs around 8oz.
The blade of the knife is constructed of 420 hv stainless steel. 420HV Steel is easy to sharpen and durable when in constant use and it’s also rust-resistant.
It has been coated with black oxide material. Due to this coating it is completely glare resistant.
This combat knife has a double combo grind edge with sharp serrations located at the base of the blade. Which makes it perfect for cutting through material such as thin ropes and plastic.
This double edged blade was designed to be more of a dagger style blade. Its double edged dagger style blade severely limits the versatility of the knife. You can’t baton it for wood chopping and other than fighting or self defense there’s no real use for it in normal life.
