Go ruck GR1 is an ideal backpack for minimalist traveler because of it minimal looks. This backpack can do a lot of things like carrying heavy duty items to a normal EDC(Every day carry).
So now talking about the specifications of the backpack.
Internal and External Specs
Right after you flop the top part of this bag, you see a flat open pack where you can throw a bunch of stuff. You can easily adjust a bunch of tactical or daily use items in it without a problem. The amount of space provided in this pack is good. It has internal MOLLE webbing on the inside and you can easily attach extra stuff to it.
On the back of the pack there is a hidden compartment for keeping laptop and hydration bladder. And this part is protected with a hard removable plastic frame sheet which also stabilize the compartment. This frame sheet ensure the safety of your item/gear inside it. You can also put your documents inside this compartment, it’ll keep them flat and straight.
The capacity of this pack is 21 and 26 liters which is a great fit for 2-3 days travelling.
So here is a personal suggestion: If you are 5.9” or below go with the 21 liter option and if 5.10” and above go for the 26 liter pack.
This is a go to pack which easily fits under a standard airline seat. Even if you fully stuff this pack it’ll be no problem.
